Forgive my Meta-nonsense.

I have reached my sixth year on LiveJournal. My arguments about keeping my account here went round and round and kept coming back to: if I am going to have a journal, then I am going to write in it or wipe it out completely. I will always be inconsistent and take short or long hiatuses. Sometimes, I simply can't stand to be more social than absolutely necessary for a space of time. In this case, I don't even know why I didn't write for so long. Days and months probably had their own reasons and I won't bother with the effort to recall because the point is that I don't want to make half-hearted attempts at any presence I plan to make anymore.

This journal has seen me through a fair stretch of time, as the longevity of internet habitation goes. I've met so many lovely people here and really appreciated how good it felt to bring them into events on my time line...and be included in their's.

But if this doesn't work for me anymore and I just can not stay more than a vague memory to my friends here and worse, to myself...I'll offer up my e-mail address as a future contact and say my farewells to LJ.

Now that I'm done with getting that out of my system, I'll go write a real post.
