A year in fic - a retrospective

Wow, where did 2010 go? Anybody see it? It seems to be missing. RIght...

Anyway, letting the last be the first, my Yuletide offering this year (that is, last year) was a short Sandman story, featuring Pharamond, the former god now in charge of transportation, and some minor issues involving certain individuals from Norse Myth, entitled Eyjafjallajökull.

I seem to have been drifting away from PotC as of late. This past year I only really wrote The Devil In Disguise (The Diabolical Remix), my entry for the remix_redux, as well as a tiny angsty coda for my old fic Time and Time Again, entitled Logical Inevitability, dealing with the rather unfortunate implications of temporal paradox.

On the other hand, at some point I seem to have drifted Supernatural-wards on the great Ocean of Fandoms. Starting out with the Jimmy-centric story Left Behind, and then playing with Gabriel in two short tales, the angsty Nowhere and the truth be told barely a story A Completely True Fairytale About An Archangel, A God and Some Brown Stuff. Furthermore, I did two SPN crossovers, the very brief and silly PotC crossover A Caribbean Vacation, and the longer The Origin of Theobroma, a Stargate: Atlantis crossover written for this years xover_exchange, being a Gabriel/Rodney tale and quite possibly my own personal favourite of this year's crop.

Finally, I wrote a teeny tiny Sherlock ficlet, In the Dark, hinting at vampiric things.

I wonder what this year will bring. Can't wait.
