Hey, guess what, I'm back from Cairns! My legs and feet are covered in bug bites, which is how you can tell I went to the tropics. Because I had to wear shorts because it was so hot. Also, bugs.

I didn't keep a journal, so here's a list of the things I did.

• The mountains in Cairns are green. That's not a thing I did, it's just weird to me when I'm so used to them being blue.
  
• Ate fruit for breakfast every morning - mostly mangos and pineapples.
  
• Fed mangos and apples to bull. Actually, it's a steer, which belongs to one of my grandparents' neighbours. They keep it in the wildlife reserve across the street.
  
• Saw some koalas, which isn't a big thing, but then they woke up and started eating leaves. I don't think I'd ever seen a conscious koala before.
  
• Watched a guy stand in the water to feed a huge crocodile, and another wave a deadly snake around.
  
• Tried a mangosteen, which strangely seems to have nothing to do with mangos. It was really good, though.
  
• Had a minor epiphany about why I'm so scared of people.
  
• Vomited on a boat. It was choppy going out to the Great Barrier Reef.
  
• Was described as "pale as" by my grandmother on a semi-submersible soon after.
  
• Vomited again.
  
• Was not able to close my mouth fully around the snorkel, but did some snorkelling anyway.
  
• Ate some delicious fried eggs. Finally got to pay for my own food.
  
• Did not tape my head to the TV and go "Can't... miss... any of the... action..." when The Big Bang Theory was about to come on, but it was a close thing.
  
• Wrote 3,000 words of my NaNo.
  
• Went for a long walk down the beach, then through the nature reserve. Wished that my grandmother had told me about the nature reserve part beforehand so that I could have worn covered in shoes.
  
• Took the plane back home to discover that it was warmer in Canberra that in was in Cairns. It was actually kind of rainy in Cairns. Warm, but rainy. Not that I minded.
  

So, what'd I miss? Homestar Runner Halloween toon? Superman IV Nostalgia Critic with Linkara? New Monkey Island episode? I leave for a few days... Okay, going to go catch up on those now. The new Monkey Island is supposed to be the most epic yet, I hear. They may even top the last three episodes of Sam & Max Season 2.

Actually, going to have breakfast and then unpack now. I guess it's a good idea to do that kind of thing before playing computer games.
