Update

Since my last post the following has happened:

1. I have a boyfriend. His name is Don.

2. I went trick-or-treating with Patty, Raul and their kids for the third year running. Niko said "Clare, can you come trick-or-treating with us ALWAYS?". This made me melt, I really love those kids.

Patty, Chachi (the yellow power ranger) and me.

3. I went to Carl's halloween party dressed as Wednesday Adams. Nobody recognized me as her, instead I was asked if I was "that girl from Harry Potter" or "just a dead girl". When I said I was Wednesday I was told that people didn't guess it because it wasn't "current". I wasn't impressed. Another thing I wasn't impressed about that night? Texas losing to Texas Tech. Something I was very impressed by however, was my ability to maintain a Wednesday Adams expression in 99% of pictures taken that night. All those years of drama paid off, apparently.

4. I turned 26. Which turned out to not be all that depressing, mostly because I thought I was 26 for the past year anyway. It was almost a pleasant surprise to discover that up until November 8 of this year I was in fact only 25. In celebration, I went to my first UT football game, and then to Wurstfest.

Monica and I got sunburned at the game.

5. I went to San Francisco! Highlights include: NOT getting flashed by the really creepy looking guy in Chinatown, a lot of really good food, Alcatraz tour, sea lions, a hotel room that appeared to have been decorated by someone high...in Florida, a Napa wine tour, a ton of walking (I miss walking!), beautiful weather while it was cold in Austin, and seeing my sisters for the first time in 10 years.

6. I went to Belize for Thanksgiving! My mom and I had a fabulous, relaxing few days during which we did pretty much nothing but eat, read, sleep, and parasail! Ok fine, I did some homework too.

7. I have a Christmas Tree that looks like something out of a magazine. I'm in love with it. It now has a bow at the top, which makes it even better.

8. Monica turned 30. I helped her celebrate!

9. I somehow got through the last couple of months of fall semester. I may or may not be going back to school next semester due to not being very good at finance, please keep your fingers crossed that I WILL be able to go back, because honestly I'm not sure what I will do if I can't.

10. Have a very merry Christmas! (or a fabulous "holiday" if you do not celebrate Christmas!)

best stuff ever, birthdays, d, dating, mba, travel, california, belize, halloween
