It does though when I tried something new and it took me ages to write.Everyone else has ben getting at least 10 comments and I get none.That sucks so much,its made me not want to write.

Hey there.

Don't feel bad about the comments thing. I'm sorry for not commenting sooner but i just NOW got a chance to try and read through all the stuff posted so far (and i'm slowly working my way BACKWARDS through the fic).

the story was a little hard to read due to the formatting (you might check and see if you had your smart quotes and "automatic formatting" on for things like ellipses (i think that's what the "..." things are called... sigh) - those REALLY mess with LJ posts) but overall was pretty good.

i loved the tender dynamic you established between Jack and Danny. Your Jack is so attentive to Danny, and i can so see him being that way once he and Danny are together.

I loved Danny's vulnerability. His fears of losing Jack brought on by the death of another soldier on mission, his reluctance to admit what was wrong (trying to be strong for Jack), his trust in Jack to help make things better.

Very good first slash effort. Thank you for taking the time to share it.

Just got back from break, catching up on all the lovely fics. The formatting for this was a little weird, so I cut and pasted it into word and replaced the boxes with quotes to make it easier to read, but once I did, this was a lovely, sweet fic. Quite good, especially considering it's a first fic! (My early Mary Sues were truly excreble; I keep them on line for historic accuracy, but maaaan!) I like the portrayal of Jack as someone who just isn't great with words, and tries to use actions to show Danny he cares.
