Summary: Walter doesn't like that Mulder is getting too familiar.
Disclaimer: Not mine, never were, I have no money.
Notes: This was written for the "One Hundred and One Nights of Multi-Fandom Porn" Live Journal Community. My challenge was: "Surprise public display of ownership/possessiveness, surprising the other lover." This goes way off the map from after "Sleepless" in the X-Files universe, takes that left turn at Albuquerque. So...yah. It wasn't beta-ed, didn't think it was long enough to need it. Hope you enjoy it! :)

Skinner sat at the conference table with Mulder and Krycek long after the meeting ended. He had asked Scully to join them as well, needing her perspective as a former member of the X-Files. He wanted to know exactly what happened during the Grissom case, exactly what Mulder and Krycek saw, and what Scully discovered that were not in the reports they filed. Skinner wasn't a fool, he knew that there were at least three pages per agent of details left out of the reports they filed. Having them in his office to discuss them would set his personal records straight.
Scully walked into the office, carrying several file folders in her arms. She looked at the assembled agents and stopped short. "Sir, you asked to speak with me?"
"Yes, Agent Scully. You know Agent Krycek. I asked the three of you here to discuss the left out facts of this case. Agent Krycek let me explain. Agents Mulder and Scully have had to...edit their reports in the past for...certain obvious reasons. I wanted this meeting to give you a sort of...introduction to how to write your reports, since you can see, I've returned yours."
"I was wondering about that," Krycek said, almost to himself.
Skinner gave Krycek a private glare. It didn't help that the men were sleeping together. Skinner knew he was taking a great risk to his career and his marriage, but the young agent, at the time the young cadet, stole his heart. It wasn't planned, it wasn't even smart, but it happened. After meeting at a sports bar near the academy, they spent the night in a motel room. Skinner attributed it to the copious amounts of beer he drank. It didn't surprise him, though, to frequent that bar for football season. His wife continually asked him where he was staying and his answer was always a spare dorm at the academy. He was surprised when she began putting a bag of clean clothes and his shaving kit in the car for him, in case he stayed over night again.
"I wanted to discuss this latest case so that I could understand exactly what was going on, hoping that Agent Krycek will be up to speed with the X-Files," Skinner further explained.
"Yes, Krycek, why don't you start off by telling us about all the recruits who followed my work," Mulder drawled. He turned to Krycek and moved into the younger man's personal space. Krycek, not backing down, smiled right back in Mulder's face.
"All of us followed your cases, your reports, and read the articles by M/F. Luder," Krycek explained, in a deep, breathy voice. It was the same voice that Krycek used when he was seducing Skinner. They hadn't met each other since Krycek was assigned to the X-Files by the Smoking Man, at Skinner's insistence. Since Krycek had graduated from the academy, he had his own apartment. It was small, in a walk up brownstone in Georgetown, but it was clean, cheap and all his own. Skinner and he christened the bed as soon as it had clean sheets on it, but since Krycek was under Skinner's supervision, Skinner felt it was crossing the final line between agent and superior if they slept together while Krycek was on the X-Files.
This did not sit well with Krycek. First, there were arguments, then covert attempts to seduce Skinner. It came down to a huge shouting match that ended with Krycek shouting at Skinner how "I'll show you!" reminiscent of a six-year-old. He was showing Skinner, chasing after Mulder like a tomcat in heat.
Skinner watched at the two men leaned into each other, faces so close, they could kiss by just extending their lips. Skinner knew Mulder hadn't slept with his old partner, Scully, and he finally knew why. Mulder was as gay as Krycek. And as he.
"What else have you...followed, Alex?" Mulder asked, dropping his gaze to Krycek full bow-shaped mouth.
"Oh, just...everything..." Alex said, sitting back, almost invitingly.
Scully, thoroughly embarrassed, cleared her throat to interrupt the exchange and bring everyone's attention back to the point. "I have transcribed the notes of my autopsy for you to read, if you like, sir. I can help get...Agent Krycek up to speed with what Mulder and I have worked on in the past year, if you like."
"Yes, I think that's a wonderful idea," Skinner added, standing and walking to his desk.
"No, thanks, sir, I'm fine," Alex drawled, still looking in Mulder's eyes. "Mulder is...getting me up to speed quite nicely."
"Not a hard job, someone as quick as you are, Alex," Mulder purred back. Skinner looked over to Scully who made a nauseated face.
"It's hard enough," Krycek cooed back.
"Gentlemen, can we get back to what we were talking about? The Grissom case?" Skinner barked. He was not at all happy with the display Krycek was putting on with Mulder. If this was meant to make him jealous, not only was it working, but it was threatening his tenuous grasp on control of his agents, especially Mulder. He took a deep breath and sat in his chair.
Scully took the hint and gathered her materials and moved to the three chairs that were positioned in front of Skinner's desk, the extra brought in for the occasion. Scully sat waiting for Mulder to take the chair next to her, and Krycek on the other side. Mulder and Krycek leaned toward each other in their chairs. Skinner glowered at them as Scully described her autopsy report and possible explanations for Skinner to consider. Skinner looked over at the two male agents, one of whom was whispering in the other's ear while he giggled. Scully turned and said, "That's the gist of it, sir. I'm...I should go now. I have another class at Quantico in ninety minutes."
"Of course, Agent Scully. Agent Mulder, would you like to see Agent Scully's report before she leaves?" Skinner asked, trying to avert the other agents' attention before they began kissing.
"Sir, Mulder has a copy..." she said, standing. Skinner stood as well, as good manners dictated. Mulder and Krycek sighed and stood, as well, knowing they were expected to. Skinner walked out from behind his desk and stood beside Krycek, who said nothing when faced with his angry boss, and lover.
"I've read the report, sir," Krycek squeaked out. "Mulder and I spent a fair amount of time catching me up on the cases he's previously investigated, including prior to Agent Scully being part of the X-Files."
"Is that right?" Skinner asked.
"Yes sir. We were planning to work late again..."
"At my apartment, sir," Mulder said, quietly.
"No, he's not," Skinner stated firmly.
"Why not?" Krycek asked.
"This is why," Skinner explained, then took Krycek in his arms and kissed him deeply. Mulder and Scully stood back, shocked. Mulder knew Krycek was gay, and he was bi-sexual, enjoying Krycek's playful flirting. He had no idea his boss was also gay, engaged in a relationship with Krycek. He didn't even want to consider what Scully was thinking with her mouth hanging open like a Nutcracker.
When Skinner pulled back, he reached around Krycek and grabbed his ass firmly, squeezing so hard he was sure he'd bruised the fleshy globe. Krycek gasped. "Get this tight little ass back to you apartment and I will be there as soon as I can. I expect you to be naked and well lubed for me, waiting in position when I get there. Is that clear, Alex?"
The wide eyes and trembling jaw were indicative of Krycek's fear, but he pulled himself together quickly and only said, "Yes sir," before leaving Skinner's office.
Skinner turned back to the other agents and said, "That will be all. And I expect total confidentiality about this meeting, agents. Good night."
And with that, Mulder and Scully left, silently. Skinner closed the two folders on his desk and sat in his chair for a moment. He thought about the night ahead of him, breaking his vow to uphold the rules, but he would never let Krycek throw him over for Mulder. No way. He turned off his desk lamp, grabbed his overcoat and headed for home, thinking about the young ass he would be plowing that night. Yes, sometimes there were reasons to bend the rules.
The End
