the wind from the open window blows across her
she can see the candle flicker
darkness is coming
she can feel it shivering through her restless body that is now lying on the floor; motionless, unable to move in the fear of the harm that she might cause herself
the silence is tearing her up inside
with every hour the pain grows deeper
the once intense light from the candle has diminished into a faint flame of tiny significance
her hand trembles at the thought of the past and the scars it left her with
crying- tears of regret now roll off her wrist
all that she had feared for so long, has become real before her eyes
she has been on a long road and as much as she hates to say it
the end is not anywhere in sight
surounded by a world of people who know and love her, she feels so lonely
she cannot live in this world of darkness and shame anymore
but there is no way out
no way to leave, no door, no exit
she is trapt
it started to storm outside
she could hear the rain pounding against the house
the wind blew again, more violently than it had before
and as quick as the candle flame started, it was blown out
she was left in the dark
all she could see was the bare wick left over from the white candle that was once full of life
but is now nothing more than a plain white candle standing in the pitch black... all alone.

I am just a face lost in the shadows
Misplaced in the darkness of my soul
Searching for a way to escape
A way to get out of this hole
It seems like no matter what i do or say
I am still unseen
I fight to emerge form the shadows
Yet im still stuck in between
Nobody notices me
Nobody will ever care
Nobody there to listen
When my feelings i need to share
Days come and seem to never go
minutes pass by like hours
And no matter what i do i know
Im still supressed in the shadows of my sorrow
