MORNING, GRAPENUTS! As promised, here are GRAPEMO 2011's participants and their goals:
akabins will shoot for two chapters of KHYR in February, and plans to accomplish this by writing 250 words a day.
Beth G will complete a chapter-by-chapter summary of her folklore/fantasy.
brian_ohio hopes to write 15,000-20,000 words on PLUCK.
catie_james plans to write 1000 words a day for either one of my two current WIPs: BLOOD & TEACUPS (YA paranormal) and UNTITLED (paranormal erotic romance), plus explore the back story of BLOOD & TEACUPS as time allows, minimum goal being at least twice a week.
Donna M's PWG is to write at least 5,000 words on her YA WIP.
edgyauthor plans to finish revising her current YA fantasy WIP.
eshakespear will revise four chapters of JASPER.
fandoria plans to just write, period, at least 3 days a week (even if it's just a paragraph) to get back into the habit.
feonua wants to choose between her dystopian and her SF and write at least 15k-or, if she can’t make up her mind, she’ll write at least 7k in each.
fuguemacabre will finish, MURDEROUS VISIONS, around 28 thousand words..
inknbeans will take a 60 contemporary romantic fiction, complete her research, and get at least halfway through a rewrite which should convert it to a slightly historical love story.
jaylatte will polish the next four chapters of her first draft to make them shiny (ish) and nut out the major plot points.
Jean D plans to write every day and complete at least a first draft on her MG novel.
jbknowles plans to finish a rough draft of her new WIP.
Kathie C will haul out the novel-in-a-drawer whose first draft (and some revisions) she wrote eons ago, and 1. brainstorm/write more of the backstory and world-building, and 2. go over the crit she got from the Famous Writer in Her Genre and other do so some serious, substantial revisions.
kbaccellia plans to finish her YA dystopia.
lalam plans to have one good chapter done by the end of February.
Laura H will write 20,000 words this month, or 5,000 words per week.
learningtoread will: 1. come up with a query letter. 2. re-read her NaNo 50k 3. begin revision of her NaNo 50k and 4. blog 1x a week.
marperez has a March 15 deadline and needs to finish a draft of DEAD IS A BATTLEFIELD.
mehouts will finish her work-in-progress before the end of February.
meredith_wood will finish her current WIP.
nefaerious will use GRAPEMO to revise and shave word count from her current manuscript.
newport2newport will concentrate all her efforts on completing her manuscript, CAN I GET A WITNESS?
njnelson plans to write for at least one hour every weekday.
ophelialaughs first PWG is to keep 5 queries for GODLIGHT in circulation all month, and her second PWG is write one scene for VOICES.
onegrapeshy will write a proposal for her WIP and work on the next 50 pages unless she has to stop to work on editorial revisions; in that case, she’ll complete the revisions.
Patty M’s PWG is to spend 24 hours per week of writing, revising, and editing her YA novel.
shoebrera will be working on revising the first 5 chapters of her current WIP.
sookie06 plans to sort and organize all notes on WIP, make neat documents and print them out; re-write the beginning of said WIP; and, if she has time, begin further edits of the first draft.
warriorofworry will add another hundred pages to her WIP and will also do the first editing pass.
