LJ/Twitter/FB's "Exciting News"??? I think not!

I personally don't crosspost to FB and Twitter. But what this means is that other people who have access to your f-clocked entries can crosspost the link and that others will then be able to see it. I'm assuming that people on my F-list wouldn't do deliberately do this, but it can happen inadvertantly with a mere click of a button. IS NOTHING SACRED?

I urge you all to complain HERE.

I've had a paid account here for 5 years. I'd hate to say good-bye.

ETA: LJ states "Please note that you can choose to have comments posted to protected entries cross-posted to Facebook and/or Twitter, and the text of those comments will appear to all your followers on those sites, but clicking the link will not show the full entry to anyone who does not have access to view it. The cross-posting options will automatically be unchecked when commenting to a Friends Only or Private post, so that no protected comments are sent to Facebook or Twitter by accident."

I don't even want the first few words of my flocked posts made public. The comments, either. I am VERY suspicious of this.
