Grapemo BONUS WEEK!

Mar 01, 2010 08:42

Congratulations to everyone who met their goals in February--and congratulations to everyone who tried! I'm amazed by your perseverence, and so happy to have your company during this generally blaaaahhhh winter month. I hope this extra week of Grapemo will help us to get a bit--okay, a LOT--more done. Thanks to all of you who hung in with me. :) And now:

GRAPEMO UPDATES

anywherebeyond completed and SUBMITTED her book. Her revised PWG? To chill till she gets the revision letter!

catie_james spent the week goofing off when she should have been conducting character interviews. :)

edgyauthor revised bits and pieces of her WIP, but was far from actually completing those revisions. Her new PWG for the coming week is to finish revising the first half of her WIP!

fandoria managed to squeeze in a couple hours this week and wrote another chapter, making 5 for the month. So she's officially met her goal~! As for the extension, she is going to be realistic and say 1 chapter.

fashionista_35 actually made some GRAPEMO progress! She wrote 1200 words this week and completed one scene for the chapter she wanted to do, so WOOT! She also brainstormed a completely new story that has her agent doing the happy dance, so she's had to start researching it and all and came up with a rough outline for it.

feonua is revising her PWG to reach 55k by the end of the week. So far she has written 1500k on her WIP, and revised the beginning scenes between her main character and her love interest

Kathie C reworked the plot of Son Light this week. Her PWG for this coming week is to revise and polish an old short story and submit it to a children's magazine AND to do SOME writing on Son Light.

kbaccellia was able to rewrite the first chapter of GODDESSES! She almost reached her goal of going over twenty pages of final edits everyday but fell short by two days due to being sick and helping out with a huge Scout 100th birthday banquet--which may be the reason she got sick. :)

learningtoread doesn't care that she only knocked two things off her original goal list because she FINISHED THE REVISION she's been working on for two years. For her extended PWG she will type in all the line edits she recently finished and get the ms out to betas.

lisa_schroeder is just shy of 10,000 words, so didn't quite make her goal of 10,000, but she is very happy with her progress!

newport2newport polished two chapters in the month of Februrary and worked on revisions for two more, plus she prepared two interviews for The Authors’ Tent (Susan VanHecke discussed ROCK ‘N’ ROLL SOLDIER last week and Varian Johnson is up next on March 8 to talk about SAVING MADDIE).

onegrapeshy slogged through 60 of the 100 pages she'd hoped to line edit this week. Her goal for this week--now that she's kicked the painkillers--is to finish the line edits (on paper at least) PERIOD!

Patti M fell off in the middle of week but got back on track. Her "word count" goal has changed to: 3 hrs. per day, work on "rethink/rewrite" story. Study & Reading Goals for this week remain at 2 hrs. each.
