Apparently some pro-adoption groups believe that if prospective adoptive parents see ORPHAN they might think twice about adopting an older childWhat part of FICTION do these people not understand? I do find that tagline very offensive, so I'm glad they changed that. I'm not adopted, but most of my siblings were.

As for the movie itself...have these people even seen it? I can't imagine that a movie about the supernatural would sway anyone's opinions about adoption. I'll never find out, though, because I refuse to see movies about creepy kids!

I saw a review on the news last night. The 12-year-old lead said her mother doesn't let her watch R-rated movies (starring in one's okay, though?), but a lot of her same-age friends do. *Great.*

Sorry, but I don't like horror movies. The clip where she pushes her younger deaf sister in front of an oncoming car disturbed me.

I do love horror movies (tho there are certain ones I won't watch). I'd like to say it's because it makes my JOB seem less horror-able, haha. But I've been hooked on them all my life. Like rollercoasters.
