Of Exam Results and Nuns...
Well...after waiting the whole summer for them, the results are finally here.
I got 500 points (Out of a poss. 600 -That's good) So I can go to college -Scotland here I come! I'm really happy about my 'A' in English and 'B' in art. OK so I failed maths, but what did numbers ever do for us anyway? (LOL)The rest was a spattering of 'B' grades.
After this I'm off to celebrate. Very pleased with myself!
I had a great birthday yesterday, am now 19 and checking around the eyes for wrinkles. Was a little upset to find a grey hair on my jacket, but concluded that it must be a dog hair. Must be. I'm too young to be middle-aged!
I reluctantly went out for high tea with a nun, my friend's aunt. She insisted that we talk French and read poetry over lunch. Was a strange 19th century-type experience but quite fun. Met my good-for-nuthin' brother for a pint (I'm only joking, I love Chris to pieces) and had an '80s disco night with the girls, complete with cocktails and glitter.
Life is good.
