Notes from a small island.
It's been ages since I updated, so here's what has been going on with me in the past few weeks...
* I was forced to leg it through a field of bulls in the middle of no-where , wearing a bright red jacket. I could have been hacked to pieces, not discovered for days perhaps -or possibly been put into the animal feed :O (It happened in the '70s in Donegal, you know. But that was a crazy murderer, not a bull)
* The next near-death experience (LOL) was when I was climbing over the top of a cliff which had a sign saying 'Dangerous! Do not climb!' The cliff didn't exactly crumble, but I slid all the way to the bottom. Luckily, there was a stoney plateau thing at the base of the cliff, and it was an amazing isolated basalt landscape, with a huge fissure leading to the sea. It was gorgeous, but I was a little shaken after it. Must not try cliff-climbing again until the dry weather ;)
* I had a bit of a meltdown at the weekend *laughs at the thought*. I've reached the stage where my brain is saturated. I know waaaaay too much about Ireland's post-war economic policy, not to mention Hamlet in soliloquy, or the exact function of a nephron. *sigh* Two weeks until the dreaded exams, then I never have to learn anything again (LOL! That's a bad way to look at life!)
* I'm still struggling to get to grips with the whole Star Wars thingy. Having been brought up to believe that all sci-fi is ridiculous and dorky (as if!), I'm a bit behind in my knowledge of the Confederation. Who's actually fighting who? Is Anakin a goodie that turns into a baddie and then his own son causes his downfall? And does Luke have a twin? LOL! Please do not all lynch me at once...
