random update

Well I spent a couple days helping sean clean/pack up his life. I got my plane ticket today. The offical date is september 27th out of Jacksonville. I'll land in Osaka and take the shinkansen to Kitakyushu. My parents will arrive about a week from today. Gee, it's hot. I went and had a couple drink with April after Chris dumped her last week. Oooh shinkansen is great! So comfortable and fast! But if your stop isn't the first/last stop, you should be prepared to jump on/off the train reaaally quickly.

Are you flying into Osaka Kansai(KIX) or Osaka Itami(ITM)? If you're flying into KIX, then I can help you with trains to Shin-Osaka if you need any help. :)

I'm flying into KIX and yes, please! help me get to shin-Osaka. I really need the landmark too as I am staying at a hostel near it for the night. :)

There is a JR station very near to the airport. From there you can take the JR airport rapid to Shin Osaka. It costs around 2000 yen. Be advised though that there's another train that also goes to Osaka (it's a tokkyu I believe) that costs around 1000 yen more. Where is your hostel? Osaka is a very big station and it's easy to get lost in, so make sure you know your exit number for your hostel!

haha, yeah. It's called the shin-Osaka hostel. the only directions are walk out the main east gate. It's 400 meters from there in Koko Plaza. :-/

okay, take the JR. now this has concerned me. what do i do with my luggage at the hostel? or could I have it checked somewhere at teh station 'til the next day you think?

I still don't have my own car, to answer a question that you asked me on MySpace like 52874-02930284 years ago. I'm working on the job searching thing here, still. I have had interviews yesterday and today, so something will [hopefully] work out soon. I applied at Coach as well, because I figured that I may as well try to get a good discount at a store that I like that also has branches in Japan. >whew< Again...excuse the runon...again. See what graduation does to people?

I do hope your interviews go well! Sean got an apartment in the Schenley Arms building on Bigelow and Centre Ave. It is teh uber kewl. I will be in Florida on the 11th at the latest I think...

I am somewhat giving up on myspace. I logged on today after not having been on for like 4 days. do you think I had a comment/message/picture comment/blog comment or even someone's blog to read? newp. lj is waaaaay cooler! lol
