The apartment is finally starting to come together. We went and picked up a couch today.. its really nice and comfy and clean and basically brand new. And we found it in the FREE section of Craigslist. You may laugh, but I laugh back in your face because of how awesome this couch is. Also, the person who lived here before us left basically all of his stuff in the basement, so we went furniture shopping down there and found tables, chairs, desks, appliances, blinds, decor, you name it.. even a tv! Talk about blessings! Also me and Leeta had a little shopping splurge at Home Depot today.. haha we bought about $50 worth of exotic houseplants.. now I hope they live!
Its quite homey and I think it could win a prize. I would love everyone to come over and see the place. Feel free! Maybe I will have a "welcome back to school party" in september or something, get some pizza, games, good times for all!
Ive also invested in some healthy food options. Hummus, weird salad stuff, veggies, quakes.. Im going for a more natural taste in my food these days and I already feel better! Not to mention the fact that Im walking EVERYWHERE.
It was a little rough beginning, but its definitely good to be back... Now school just needs to start!
