Dear sir or madam of the Hanes sock company:
I recently purchased a resealable bag of your low cut women's athletic socks, as my regular brand does not seem to be available for purchase any more. To my surprise, the socks I purchased were extremely slippery, even on carpeted surfaces, a fact I discovered when my feet slipped completely out from under me as I was walking down the stairs of my home with my backback, my laptop, and a glass of water. As my head bounced gently off of each and every stair as I slid down the steps, I marvelled at how socks could be so slick as to slide right off of carpet. I pondered this for a few more moments as I lay flat on my back at the bottom of the steps underneath my unscathed laptop. While I appreciate that your socks would be appropriate for linoleum skating or curling, falling down the stairs was not particularly fun. Please find attached a picture of my completely bruised left buttock.
