weekend in review
This past weekend was quite busy. I haven't had one of those in a while.
Sunday I went downtown to see Grizzly Bear and The Dirty Projectors. I haven't been to many shows lately, and I haven't been to many places in downtown IC yet, so I thought it was a good opportunity. I quite enjoyed Grizzly Bear. The Dirty Projectors left me confused. There were a few moments I liked, a few moments of the most horrendous music I've ever heard, and in between were sounds that may or may not have been purposefullly made. They were quite different than anything I've heard before. That doesn't mean I want to hear them again.
Saturday I worked a couple of hours in the morning. And by morning I pre-dawn. Then I convinced my roommate to play euchre with me at the American Legion, where we got to meet lots of interesting locals, including one that looked exactly like Large Marge from Pee Wee's Big Adventure. Saturday night I played Catch Phrase, and laughed til I almost cried. It's probably not funny if you weren't there, and you weren't, so I won't go into detail.
It's never going to stop snowing.
