You should know that I walked into a fight between your inmates today in the dining hall. They were going at it badly, and Mozenrath used some sort of magic to temporarily blind Hoffman. Thankfully I managed to stop it before things escalated. Based upon this conversation I am inclined to think that Mozenrath attempted to provoke Hoffman into a fight. I let Mozenrath go, and took Hoffman to the infirmary to make certain that his sight wasn't damaged. It wasn't.
What happens now is up to you. I'm just the bloke doing the reporting.
