http://www.gone2thedogs.com/ i was a dalmation, which kind of makes sense.
in other news: i met kim and lynn for ther 'first' time tonight.
i can't say how lovely they are. i don't use the word lovely often, but when i do i mean it. i don't know--- you know the cars song 'just what i needed'? well, i think seeing them was just what i needed. i couldn't stop smiling in the cab on the way home. there are too many things to say. cute, kind, generous (even though i have a hard time with generousity---why is it that i preach and preach about giving to people in need, then when i'm 'in need' in a context i can't take the help i say people ought to offer?), fun, gorgeous, funny...so many words for these ladies. yay. yayayayyayayayay!
ok.
also, elena was here from LA...elena has a very special part of my heart. she is a great friend. one of he great friends in my short life (dramatic, but true). because of her, all these cool people i haven't seen in a while (except teague, i ran into her randomly in the airport in rome, crazy) gathered in one place to eat, drink, and sing karaoke. then we went dancing in the castro and i gave a 'male dancer' a dollar (well, sort of i didn't give it to him, this girl put in my shirt to get him to come over towards us, and it worked) and he danced for me (well, them, my eyes were closed and i was giggling. gah damn my shy-ity)
we sang goodbye earl. get your copy...it was recorded. no, you'll never, ever ever ever get it from me.
i wish i had more time this weekend to spend with these fabulous people.
love.
