Superman Returns a la My Boyfriends Back
How in the hell did Peta Wilson go from staring in her own TV show and co-starring with Sean Conery in feature films to playing a bit part as a stewardess in Superman Returns???? HOW!?!?!?!
It was a beautiful movie. In fact Jesus never looked so good.
It really did remind me why I like Green Arrow 10-million times more than Super, Bat or Spider-man. These great American Archtypes re Christ figures and martyrs. And that gets old fast.
The whole fiolm was wonderful once you got past the serious Christian overtones (The Nativity movie trailer we had to watch first didn't help.) Kate as Lois was wonderul, Brandon as Cark was great, Brandon as Superman was better, Kevin as Lex was all a-swish in his megalomanical glory, Parker as Kitty was a jewel, James as Richard was a nice addition, and whoever played Jimmy was as forgetable as everyone else who ever played Jimmy.
The effects were amazing. And the dogs and train set were the best parts of the film, they stuck with you.
