5 seconds. I used to say that to a friend of mine who was having some troubles in high school. Paraphrasing, it went something like "A world of bad is worth it for 5 second of happiness." It kept her forward thinking and future oriented, and as I can usually manage to muster 5 seconds of happiness through a joke or some antics, I could pepper the day or week with enough to get by.
