Sickie
Today was an odd range of activities and emotions. I have been horribly sick all day with food poisoning or something and therefore have been tossing my cookies every hour on the hour and sometimes a few times in between. I ate some shrimp ceviche at work last night and it immediately didn't sit right. Then I went to a party at Felipe's and had four drinks. We decided to leave and meet Blanco at a club and during the ride from Felipe's to the club I became alarmingly sick. I threw up three times on the way home and it didn't stop until a few hours ago.
Luckily, now I feel a lot better and have been able to keep some stuff down since about 8 or so. Anthony and Bryan came over and carved pumpkins with Fernanda and me while we told jokes and toasted the seeds in the oven. I just can't enough of Halloween. Its without a doubt my favorite day of the whole year. Abita will be 5 this Tuesday. I can't believe she's so old already, seems like I just brought her home! So the pumpkin carving was a lot of fun and everybody's turned out really well. I just hope nobody smashes them before the big day like they used to do when I lived on Nicholson in B.R.
So the Red Sox won the World Series tonight. It was a really close game. These whole four games have been incredible. I love watching the post-game celebrations, Papelbon doing his funny little Riverdance and David Ortiz standing on top of a table wearing goggles amidst shooting sprays of champagne. I love that team. I do feel bad for the Colorado Rockies, though. Its their first time making it to the World Series. Still, being second best ain't bad, I suppose.
I always wanted to convert a school bus into a traveling apartment. Maybe one day I'll get around to making that happen. It would be pretty groovy if you ask me.
