Upon arriving at the castle, I found that a guest room had been reserved just for me in the basement. It seems our captor wishes us to enjoy our stay here in his realm, although I can't say that the convenience of having a room can at all make up for the rest of the inconveniences I'll be faced with while I'm here ( Read more... )

[Private] ...A demon shrine maiden? [/Private]

Thank you. I can't say I'm too worried about fitting in here; I actually can't stay for long.

...Oh, nobody told you yet. I am very sorry to have to tell you this...

The problem is that you might have to stay for some time. While there is nothing preventing our leave in theory, practically the dimensional gateway is broken, and even if it is fixed, which is taking months, the gatekeeper has to show up, and sadly, nobody has seen her work even once. She is a typical honor student demoness, after all.

I've heard something similar from other people, yes...

However, that doesn't give me reason to stay here at the castle. I'll have to travel this planet. If I stay at the castle, the mushi will only gather around me, and nothing good comes from too many of them coming together in the same place.

((Help help, I need reasons for Ginko to not do this aaaaah 8D;;))

You really should stay at the castle! The gate is here, and the gatekeeper might be present for only a short time until she runs off to escape the work! If you move away, you might miss the opportunity!

*Asuka actually looks worried*

I don't think these ...Mushi will be much of a problem. And besides, company and friends are always good to solve one's problems, right?

....

You actually have a good point.

However, the fact remains that I'll be endangering the lives of people here if I stay here longer than 3 or 4 weeks. Be they demons or all-powerful beings of some other sort, I'm betting mushi can affect any of them.

*still, he does want to be around for when the Gate gest fixed...* Perhaps I can set up mushi-repellent smoke at the entrance...but that won't hold them off for much longer...

((Hustino told me that the Prinnies or something would be doing a routine sweep of the castle to get rid of accumulated mushi, so there's actually no worries there :D))

Don't worry! If mushi are a problem, I am sure my lady will take care of them. She's the legendary delinquent, after all, I can but try to volunteer in her spirit. I, too, will do all in my power to make sure nobody is harmed.

It is really, really nice to see someone with such concern for the wellbeing of others. Are you...are you by any chance a true hero? *she actually looks moved, and has stars in her eyes*

((I actually have no idea what mushi are, just like Asuka xD So I sure am glad Asuka didn't just condemn the castle to some horrible fate ^^))

*blinks* ..."True hero"?

No, I wouldn't say so. I've just made it my profession to help people whose lives have become entangled with the mushi's. I'm forced to travel because of my condition, so it suits me.

Ah, a shame. My Lady and I are always looking for true heroes to give us autographs.

Still, you help people. This is wonderful! If you ever need help helping people, just ask! Or help in general! We demon delinquents always lend a helping hand when possible~

...

You've been saying things like "honor student" and "delinquent" for a while now, but don't you have the meanings mixed up?

Of course not. Honor students are the lazy ones, who never attend classes, bully the weak, eat unhealthy food and never shower.

Delinquents - among which my Lady is the most famous - are the few who attend classes, do their homework, and help people.

Just take a look at my status screen, it says 'Delinquent Samurai' right there!
