There's someone-
[She turns the communicator on almost mid sentence, mid breath. Heavy footsteps can be heard.]
I- [She tries to speak or ask for help but the words don't come out. She takes a sharp breath and breathes out scared. The footsteps are heard to come closer and she seems to start running, crying out over her shoulder:] Please, stop

With her down, he gave a harsh laugh and lunged at her once more.]

On the ground she turned and had barely a moment to stare up at him in disbelief before realizing he was about to strike again. She scrambled backwards-or tried to-hoping to avoid at least the worst of the blow, hoping to get back to her feet.]

As it was, he missed his initial grab, but found that his frame was quick to respond. Having caught himself... he stared down at this unknown person... and if for a moment paused. The look that crossed his face was something of an apology, before his eyes flashed red when he outright tried to tackle and pin her under his weight.]

Wh-why are you doing this?
[Once again she tries to move away, but this time it's unlikely she could entirely succeed. She lifts her arms to cover her face, cringing, defensive, useless.]

On the inside, he was screaming, but on the outside he was seemingly to get some manner of twisted amusement of striking one so helpless.]
Why?... because I can...
[Though this was far too easy... he held still a moment, quite curious of how she would react.]

Because I can...? She didn't lower her arms but she opened her eyes, looking at him in pained disbelief for a moment. Then her expression became more resigned. There were people like that. She knew that very well. She swallowed, ignoring the pain in her head.]
Please... stop, please.

The word 'please' was also used in her request. For a brief moment a look of shock crossed his features... and it faded quickly as he pulled his arm back and aimed directly to her face.]

Does he let go as she attempts to fall backwards, is knocked backwards? If so, she'll have just enough presence of mind to stumble back a step or two, hand pressed over her throbbing eye, looking at him with the other in wide eyed disbelief. Stumbling back down again. This isn't going to stop, she realizes, trying to pick herself back up.]

At the small attempt to stand, Hol rushed in to strike once again. He brought his arm around in a wide arc to deal a strong blow... not caring where the punch landed.]

She cried out in pain, but it was more of a gasp, a shaky one. Her arm, her shoulder, burned with pain. Her nose. Her face. Her eyes prickled. Get away, she thought. Fast as she was able, she scrambled backwards and to her feet, wishing for Juno stronger than she ever had in her life. Her communicator! she realized suddenly, turning and trying to make a run for it. But without using her right arm-without being in very good shape-there was no way she could...]

The motion his hand made... he seemed to be holding something that wasn't even there. However, at the last second, a tiny voice of reason seemed to snap him out of this destructive train of thought.
Immediately, he stepped back and covered his eyes. Small utters of sorry were made multiple times before he backed up further and turned to flee.]

The fear, or adrenaline, was catching up to her, the endorphins wearing off, and her legs were weak-she fell to her knees right in the middle of the street, aching and scared and confused. But he was backing away. That was good. If he changed his mind, she wouldn't be able to dodge even if she tried.]
