I- I think people have been getting hurt and dying, and... Please, I want to be able to help. I-I know a little first aid...

I could join the police... [She sounds very uncertain about that, then speaks even more quietly, almost too softly to be heard:] If I had Juno with me...

I guess-all I can really do is keep from getting in the way, but...

There's such a lack of doctors that even knowing a little first aid might be really helpful. And they're organizing classes for people who want to learn more about that, so maybe you could look into that?

[...] I really don't know a lot at all. I wish I hadn't just said that. I-

I just want to do something. It was the only thing I could think of.

Well, there's the class, so you could learn more that way, too!

But I do understand the feeling. It's...harder to do something useful here, with those chips and all.

I don't... want to, really. [...] I know how weird that sounds...

...Chips?

Mm, I don't think it's weird. Wanting to help is good, but I think it's important to know yourself too, if that makes sense.

From what I've been told, they put chips in everybody when they get here, and that's how they suppress powers for the people who have them. It sounds like some people have gotten them out, but there aren't many people who can do it.

[...] There was a lot of pressure on me to become a doctor... so now, I really don't want to at all.

So... so that's how... Do you mean like a microchip? How would something like that work?

I think that's completely understandable, then! It's important to be true to yourself, not to the person other people see you as.

I...don't know much about how it works, to be honest. It's not exactly my area of expertise.

Thank you.

Oh-no, I'm sorry. I was just thinking aloud a little. I'm sort... I like technology a little, I guess, so...

Hm...maybe there's some way you could put that to use? We don't seem to have much technology here, but...

O-oh, I'm really not... [Eager to admit that I'm a massive technology geek.] very good.

[pfff geeks are adorable]

I don't think you have to be great at anything to make a difference here, so much as willing to give it the effort.

Well... if it was useful, I'd try, of course, but... it's just a hobby, really.

If it's a hobby, you must enjoy it, though. Right? I think if you're going to try and help people with something, it's really better if it's something you like.

-- ah, I hope I don't sound too pushy about this or anything, I'm sorry!
