there's constant reminders in everything i see. the chance of a lifetime what a great place to be...

i'm in copenhagen, denmark today. or tonight rather. considering that it's like 7 pm here. and it's pitch black outside. we've had the pleasure of having the day off today. it's been relatively uneventful. we spent about an hour walking around trying to find a place to exchange money. it's cool that denmark has to be a pain in the ass and not use the euro as their currency. their money is called the kroner. it sucks. when i went to exchange 30 euros, i got 185 kroner back. it's fuckin dumb. the bacon cheeseburger i ate was 55 kroner. what is awesome though is that we're parked in front of a venue and we not only get to have power for our bus all day, but the venue has wireless internet so we're able to take advantage of that as well.

for those that don't know, i have a few funny stories.

the first one, took place a few days ago. i just want to start it off by saying that our bus was parked on this really shitty hill. sooooo, after the show in stuttgart, germany, a bunch of us were hanging out pretty late, drinking a good amount of beer. i went upstairs to change into my sleeping clothes, so i wouldn't end up being too drunk and/or tired later on. so i was coming down the stairs of our double decker bus and my sandal slips on the top step and my drunk ass falls all the way down the fucking stairs. it sucked so much, but corey died laughing. i'm sure had it not been me, it would've been one of the funniest things of all time. i even have a sweet bruise on my back too. i kinda look like a child abuse victim. i took a picture of it in case anyone is interested. ha.

the second story happened today. i was walking with the guys to go exchange currency and out of all of us, this middle aged black man grabs me by the shoulder, shakes me a little bit and says "God Bless you!" i'm pretty sure he said that cuz i was wearing my black dahlia murder hoodie that has the word "kill" smeared in blood on the front. for the rest of today, whenever someone was walking in the opposite direction as me, they would make it a point to avoid me at all cost. it's kind of sad really, but oh well.

so we were in berlin yesterday and i got to go exploring in the city a bit. i got to see checkpoint charlie and some of the berlin wall. i also went to this holocaust museum. it was actually really depressing. there was a ton of sad stuff in there. it was intense. but quite an experience. getting to check out berlin was something that i've been looking forward to since i saw the official dates for this uk/europe tour.

5 more shows in the next 6 days and then i go home sometime after that. still no word on exactliy when i'll be home. i'm hoping it's no later than the 21st. i'll keep everyone updated on that.

newcastle and chipotle when i get back?
