I'm so silly
Chuck and I agreed that we will go to NC to visit my friends but that the primary point of the trip is to do something else besides hanging out with them. (His eyes lit up when I mentioned Annapolis!) Now we just have to decide when we're going, how long we'll be gone for, etc. Both of us are now thinking of a place to visit that is 'on the way' to NC or not too far out of the way.
Yesterday, I was shelving some books in the travel section when inspiration hit me: I saw a travel book on a city that we've always wanted to visit but never have. I thought the city would be a perfect destination for a long weekend visit and this year would be perfect to visit it since we'd be on the road anyway. Then I saw a slight problem in my plan. The city that I wanted to visit was Montreal!
