I've been sick since last Saturday - this displeases me greatly. And seriously sick - not keeping water down too well for a few days in the middle, which is REALLY REALLY BAD (tm).
Anyway, I'm watching Mythbusters to amuse myself right now. And they just tested the "bull in a china shop" saying. And you know what? Bulls will GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to avoid china set up in their pen. It is hilarious - they had, I think, three or four bulls in the pen at the end of the test and only one thing got knocked down. Kind of takes the wind out of one of my favourite Ani songs though (You Had Time). She has that whole "You are a china shop and I am a bull" - well, if that is so, Ani, then you'd avoid hurting him! Changes the WHOLE MEANING!
Can you tell I am sick by the inanity of this entry? I'm teetering close to babbling incoherently.
To continue that trend of babble, when I've been truly bored at work or whathaveyou lately, the strange siren call of Facebook has served to amuse me to a very high level lately. The Compare People function, for example? Far too amusing to see who has the best singing voice or is craziest or who everyone would rather be handcuffed to. Maybe thats just me though. And the poke people function? Honestly, I love having a poke people war set-up with a few choice friends and relatives.
My cat's new favourite toy is .... a box. With paper wrapping that came in it when whatever was shipped in it arrived. She is a special little creature. She has her 1st year checkup tomorrow. I keep telling her she's getting a shot (rabies vaccine) and to be prepared. I don't think she quite understands, haha.
I keep meaning to post more often and post more meaningful things. But I am not so good at that. I feel like it would be a good outlet. I have to figure out a way to hold myself to this.
