MY journal entry
we got lots of snow, then it melted and then refroze as ice. the sled riding was awesome. But the snow only kept me in for 1 day. we shoveled before it turned to ice, so we could get out. Dad shoveled it all in front of my car so i couldn't get out. but he dug my car out and scraped it clean on Sunday so i could go into work. I started to do it but he yelled at me and did it himself. he is weird sometimes. They are calling for more snow in mid-janurary.
so, we dug out of this snow. Christmas was good. Christmas eve my dad drove me to work since my car was in a snow drift... i didn't have to work, but we all wanted to exchanged gifts at work. than was fun. We made it to Christmas Eve at Linda's and all is well. Becky has been christened into the family. I got a $20 Applebee's gift card, in the gift exchange, and Becky got me some cool Bath and body. cute little purse! Michael got me a Carhartt coat. Emily was at Christmas Eve, Michael carried her around all night. She doesn't let many people hold her, but she likes him. When she cried we just handed her to him and she was happy. then Michael and i headed to his house where Brett harassed me all night. When i got home everyone was still awake and ready to open presents. Santa brought me cool stuff. some clothes, a book, money for books, calender, date book, a new coat, a couple hoodies, and other stuff.
Christmas morning we went to church, then I headed to Michael's house. Chrissie got me some cool Piggy slippers and a hoodie. The family got me an awesome bright orange Cush pillow. They also got me some gift cards to Showtime video and some pj pants with Tootsie Pops on them. After we opened presents at Michael's, we headed to his aunt and uncle's house. They got me a really neat charm bracelet. It's patent leather. and has a D charm on it.
Sunday i went to work. Terry gave me an hour and a half break, so i shopped all the way up the strip. After work Michael and i were supposed to go up to the Festival of Lights but they were closed cause of the weather. So instead we went shopping and picked up some Wendy's just in time to get home and watch the Simpson's.
Today i went to work. Tomorrow is my last day at the florist. We're gonna go to the Festival of lights tomorrow night. Wednesday night I'm going shopping with Kim. Michael took Wednesday and Thursday off work. Thursday is Michael's birthday. So we're going to Red Lobster as is our tradition (it's nice to have yearly traditions with someone.) Friday, Chrissie and i are going shopping again. i have business to attend to in Florence. Then Michael and i are headed up to Cleves for a Racer New Year's Eve party! I miss my racing friends so much!!! New year's day i am working for a few hours, then Mike and Vikki are coming over for dinner.
mom and dad are going to Alaska in May. Next December is their 25th wedding anniversary.
