Golden Compass
The golden compass comes out today, that movie looks really awesome! Haha it's like it brings the inner child out in me, something I would never complain about. I am totally driving down to burlington to see it on a larger screen. Oh, I saw August Rush earlier this week. I would say it's the Feel Good Movie of the Year (tm) and recommend it because the music in it is awesome.
I finally got a chance to rent a video camera and capture all of the footage from Jaimie's wedding to my computer. I was worried it would take a lot of space, but it seems to only have taken about 30gb. Not bad considering it's probably about 95 minutes of footage. My goal is to be done with the whole thing by christmas. They wish to send off a couple copies of it as wedding gifts. While doing this project I've been learning how to use Adobe Premier. Great program, it's pretty intuitive and has way more cool stuff you can do than what you are confined to with Windows Movie Maker.
I'm heading down to seattle tomorrow. I'm planning on coming down a bit early, probably around the 1pm mark. I have a happy go funtime meeting in federal way that is netting me a 3 day cruise. A free trip is a good trip in my book!
I may also get to play Rock Band after seeing the Golden Compass today, that's very exciting to me.
