Our, by our I mean my best friend's Cindy with whom I live, house was officially put on the malarkey yesterday. The sign is up in our front yard and the MLS posting should be online today.
We spent the past two weeks stressing out, starting to pack, cleaning the house and just running a around to get the house ready for pictures and showings.
I think the real estate agent thinks that Cindy and I are a couple. Though that has been a common misconception almost our entire friendship. Probably because Cindy is very open about being bi while I'm very quiet about being mostly asexual.
Anywho, that's off topic. Not that I really had a topic in mind.
I'm in so much pain now. I hurt the Achilles muscle/tendon/whatever in my left ankle a couple weeks ago. Nothing major, just an ache when walking too much. But, over the weekend I hurt my back. I didn't notice it until I couldn't move in the morning a few days ago. In fact, I'm writing this while I lay in bed, trying to stretch it a bit just so I can get out of bed. My back relaxes throughout the day enough to sit, lay, or stand still without pain. But OMG bending over and the action of sitting/standing is painful enough to force out a yelp.
I have to swing by the pharmacy this morning to pick up a prescription for Cindy. She went to the ER about 1am last night because of an ear infection. I am NOT looking forward to trying to get in and out of the car. Good thing it's an automatic, I doubt I could drive a standard with how much pain I'm in.
Days like these I hate the fact that Cindy doesn't have a drivers license (though I understand why -- her beginners license expired just after her mom passed away last year and it costs almost $400 for all the tests and stuff to get a new one with the graduated driving system in Ontario now).
I'll try to remember to post the listing for my house when it's up, if anyone is curious. For now, here's pics. I'll add descriptions and names later when I'm not on my mobile.
