I had a different story started last night but couldn't get it to work. I gave up on it and went to bed instead of fighting with it more. I decided to scrap it all and do something different.

Z if for Zeke
Zeke showed up with a case of coke and a dozen donuts. Normally he'd try for something a bit healthier to eat but he figured the best way to keep Yasley semi-content after waking him up early in the morning was to liberally dose him full of sugar and caffeine.
Zeke banged on the door and smiled charmingly at the bitter glare he got when his boyfriend opened the door.
“You're late.”
Zeke's smile grew. “I am, but I brought caffeine as requested.”
He got a grunt in reply which caused Zeke to laugh. Zeke dropped his armful on the first flat surface he came to, tore open the case of coke and popped the tab before shoving the can into Yasley's hand.
“Drink you insufferable fool.”
If looks could kill, Zeke would be a pile of burned mush on the ground. When Yasley opened his mouth to make a snarky comment, Zeke shoved a donut in. Yasley grumbled around his mouthful but kept silent and ate the donut.
Zeke waited until Yasley had downed his pop and finished a second donut before he pushed Yasley into his shoes and out the door. Zeke made sure that Yasley had a donut in one hand and a pop in the other before starting the car and driving to Yasley's sister's place.
Zeke held his snickers back as Yasley bitched at his sister as she let them into her apartment. He shared an eye-roll with Simone when Yasley turned his back to them.
“Where shall we start?” Zeke asked politely.
“I figured we could start with getting the big stuff into the truck first.”
“It's too fucking early for heavy lifting. Why don't we just call movers like fucking normal people.”
“Yasley, I've got a one room apartment full of stuff to move. It's not worth the cost.”
“So you fucking say. My sleep is worth it.”
“God, you are such a bitch in the mornings Yasley.”
Zeke stepped between the siblings before all out war started. He pushed Simone towards her living area. “Why don't you make sure all the cushions and stuff are off the couch and chair. Yasley and I will grab it in a sec.”
Zeke waited until Simone was around the corner before turning to Yasley. “You're being bitchier than normal this morning Yasley. Is your headache that bad?”
Yasley sneered. “It's fine and fuck you.”
Zeke chuckled. “Later love. Trust me, I plan on it. That's usually the only way to snap you out of one of your moods. Unfortunately, I don't think your sister would like us going at it in her apartment, even if she is moving out.”
Yasley sighed and scrubbed at his face. “I'm sorry. It's just way to fucking early.”
“I know Yas. You okay now?”
Yasley shrugged but moved into Zeke's arms for a hug. “Love you.”
“Love you back. Even when you're being a little bitch.”
Yasley turned his head enough to look up at Zeke with a snarl. Zeke laughingly stopped Yasley's snarky comment with his lips.
