Well that wrung me. This does not bode well if Jordan dies in a car accident. Then he can't come back except as a ghost or waiting for Viktor at the other end of the tunnel they talk about.
*sighs* Yes, I could see this happening and why. And I don't know what I would do in Viktor's place when Jordan came back. Perhaps I'm not evolved enough but a certain fragile barrier of trust has been broken.... or perhaps it's because I'm bringing too much of my own baggage to this.
I don't know whether to say thanks for the well done or to apologize.
There will be a small edit tomorrow since I don't feel like getting out of bed and I know from past experience that editing on my phone just makes things worse.
Victor spends a while yelling at Jordan and throwing pillows against a wall. but they get past this.
As for if Jordan were to die, Viktor would handle it better. The difference being that here Jordan chose to leave. If Jordan dies, it's not something he could control and that he chose. For Viktor the personal responsibility of the choice is the game changer.
I agree about the trust being broken. I'd forgive, but it would take a long time to forget.
I remember when a friends husband left her and she spent weeks cleaning (so she wouldn't have to think) and when he came home all of us were relieved... except her kids. One informed me that he did this every few years. That was heartbreaking to me.
Viktor has one of those not-easily-transferable jobs. Plus he hadn't been given enough time to really work things out yet. He says that once he had gotten over the shock of it all, he probably would've flown down to LA and based on his reception from Jacob, plans may have been made.

Well done.

I hope Jordan's got this out of his system.

Jordan had a great opportunity but there was no talk of Vik making any changes.
