I Think I'll Take Time on This One
So I'm currently flying over Canada, on my way home from the best vacation EVER! I despise cramped little airplanes, so I'm writing to keep my mind off of the fact that the man in front of me insists on reclining his seat all the way back for the duration of this 12-hour flight. Here are a few of my favorite points of the past couple weeks...
So on Friday, things went so spectacularly, I couldn't have asked for more. We woke up to doughnuts, coffee, and a massive hair appointment. All the girls looked so GORGEOUS all done up for the wedding. We ran a little late, so it was very amusing getting ready super fast, haha. It took three people to get me into my bohemoth gown, and we limo'ed over to the college. Our photographer did some pictures, and THE BEST PART--we went to the church, and my dressing room was PIRATE THEMED!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSS!! There was a big pirate ship playhouse and fish on the walls. It was so rad. Harley cooked us up some plastic food at the play kitchen, and then we were off. Things went so fast, and it was so surreal, but it was fantastic! I tell ya, its a weird experience to be on stage with everyone crying around you, hahaha. I figure that won't happen again until the next time I have to hire a professional florist, or at least until someone has to hire them for me LoL ;) We told Pastor Allen we wanted a short service, and he did just that for us. It was great! The girls were so pretty and all the groomsman looked so handsome! I told you guys that the orange would look good!! We did the LONGEST PHOTO SHOOT EVER, and then the reception, which I enjoyed. Friends, family, and booze make a FABULOUS party!
So anyway, after the party we left for the greatest honeymoon ever! We drove to San Francisco, then flew to Spain, which was where our CRUISE started!!! For those of you who thought I knew, I have to let you know, it was a COMPLETE SURPRISE!! We slept through Spain, the time change was a killer! After that, we saw Marseilles, Pisa, Rome, Pompeii, Athens, Mykonos, Istanbul, Ephesus, and Venice. They were all so great. I saw things I can't believe I would ever see--the Sistine Chapel. the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Collesium, the Vatican, tons of ruins, the Acropolis. and the KICKER--we rode in a gondola in Venice! Venice is perfect--like a real-life Disneylnad. It was fantastic!
My battery is dying, so I am outta here for now. Love you all!
