Mid spring break update...
Um... let's see...
I went with Kristen's family to see Horton Hears A Who last Friday, it's a rather enjoyable movie- not one I'd rush out to see a second time though. Then on Saturday we went to a historical museum of Michigan. There were many, many small children (like... ten year olds) there. The museum itself was good times though, I haven't been there since I was one of aforementioned ten year olds.
Hung out with Kristen a bit on Sunday as well.
Monday... I don't even remember. I didn't do anything of any importance or regard, anyway. A whole day of my break wasted doing I'm not sure what (I assume I wasted hours on forums, and playing Soldier Front).
On Tuesday... Kristen and I went to the playground of dreams and hung out for a bit.... we went to her house and watched The Empire Strikes Back. Also: I Am Legend. I've had the dvd for a week or so, been putting off watching it because she wanted to watch it too and I wasn't gonna watch it twice in such a short time span. I kind of enjoyed the movie, it certainly had a different take on... I don't even know what to call it, not really a zombie movie. Regardless, I would have liked the ending better if when the kid and the lady got to that outpost/compound/thing- they opened the gate only to find that it had been overrun by infected people. And then it cuts to credits. Personally, this would have been the most poetically beautiful way to end the movie (if only because the whole "LOOK GAIS! ONE LAST HOPE FOR HUMANITY" thing has been done so very many times).
Now it's Wednesday... haven't really done much today either. Played .Hack//G.U. vol. 1 for a bit, but that's really all I've managed.
Note to self: Get a social life outside of being around your girlfriend. Please.
