So I am a skeptic about all the money saving ideas that people are floating out there, I mean some of them seem practical and useful but lots of them seem annoying and like it will cost me more time and energy than it is worth.  I thought in the interests of being a friend to you all LOL  that I would post ideas that I try that actually worked and were NOT annoying and or time consuming.

My  favorite of the day are www.cub.com where I can go through the current sales insert online, mark any items that are on sale or have a coupon and it compiles it into a handy printable list that then prints out the list AND (wait for it) all the applicable coupons so I can send the beloved husband to the store and I don't discover days later that he didn't bother with the coupons becasue I have handed them to him instead.!!!! Yay for this  - plus you can add notes of things that aren't on sale but you need like toilet paper or whatever and it prints it on the list too.  Plus on the master list it puts a little code by the items that have coupons AND it prints a pic of the item which is especially helpful for me with the proxy shopper.

Also, I have been really dubious about this one but the pookie bear needed underwear, so I went to a site ordered a bunch of their clearance underwear in her size, got 20% off of clearance items for setting up an account AND then I tried the tip - in a different window I googled codes for that site and IT WORKED.  I got a code that got me 20% my entire order put it in and Hooray - the daughter will be wearing 40% off undies in a  style she even likes.  I don't know if it works for every site but the savings of $6.68 which was more than one of her packs of undies free basically seemed worth the 2 minutes it took.

coupons, money-saving, practical
