i bent down over a clear-running stream
Yesterday, Drew and I dined with Jenn Wu at Sparkys...Jenn's now all moved in just up the N line from us. Cole Valley.
Today Drew and I went to the Oakland Airport to get my cellphone back...I left it at Jim's, and he works there. He's one of the guys who directs planes on the ground. I forgot to ask if he gets to wave those cool light sticks. Do they even still do that anymore?
Anyhow, when we got home I watched this 3 hour movie called Fanny & Alexander. It took me a good half hour just to figure out what language it was in. Sounded like a mix of Italian, German, and English. It was Swedish. Great movie though. The colors in the sets were just amazing. I just don't know why it's called "Fanny & Alexander" when it's basically about Alexander. But it's not even really about him so much as the workings of his family.
If there was more humor to it, I'd say it could be the Swedish Harold & Maude...minus the Maude.
