wild man's world is crying in pain
On Saturday, I met Laura & her mommy on Union Street
And they shopped at my store, and then took me out to dinner (and definitely drinks) at Betelnut.
Which is a posh little upscale Asian Fusion restaraunt on Union. We each had a couple of their cocktails and some delicious sirloin and green bean dish that I don't remember too well.
Anyhow, Susan treated us (she said I just have to set her up with my Dad again).
Hah!
Well anyhow,
later that night, Laura came back out to SF and we (not Drew cuz he had to work early Sunday) went to Underground SF, and debated going in. The event going on was "Sexy--A Boy Night". So I wasn't sure how cool it would be to bring Laura in there.
We decided against it and instead headed for Noc Noc (we didn't have the energy to leave my neighborhood). And on our way there I was telling her how Norman goes to Underground SF all the time. At which point, who did we see crossing the street coming towards us, dressed sharply to the nines, but Norman himself.
He was at a party down the street and left when it turned into a drag party. The three of us went back to Sexy, but weren't feeling it. After a drink, I took them to Amber on 14th & Church & Market.
It's the bar where you can legally smoke inside. I had a beer, Laura had water, and Norman had a cosmo. We all enjoyed it.
Although I enjoyed getting a slice of pizza at Cybelle's afterwards ;)
Today is the 25 year anniversary of John Lennon's murder. :(
