Labour MPs - why bother?

So Andy Burnham, Kate Hoey and David Blunkett have all said they don't want to be in power.

Fair enough, if sufficient members of the PLP would rather be in opposition than in government, then Labour isn't going to be in government under any coalition circumstances. You have to question why they're members of a party at all, though, other than to get a load of people to leaflet for them under false pretenses ;-)
