[Some broken filters appear on the journals briefly. With Melanie off on a mission and Mikage gone, Kurt was really hoping for someone to hang out with. At first he tries a filter for Flynn- but it's broken. So he tries to do the same to Rapunzel, to ask about Flynn, but that has the same result. Thus leaving Kurt without two of his best bros in Luceti. Talk about a downer. He had only been back from a mission for a few days and it was already such a downer. But. He feels obligated to pass the message along:]
It looks like Flynn and Rapunzel have gone off home together. Maybe they'll get lucky and he'll get to show her those lights, yeah?
[Actually, now that Mikage is gone, he's kind of lost his main sparring partner. Maybe it's about time he found someone a little more advanced...]
Also... anyone else into fencing?
[Over at the Dome, Kurt will be setting himself up a program to give himself a full workout of his abilities. The setting is a large castle-skyscraper, with plenty of bright spots and shadowy places all about, not to mention places to fall from. The computer has randomly generated a maze like passageway inside with lots of tight spaces, open corridors, and larger rooms. It's also filled with all manner of knights, soldiers, ninjas, vikings, street thugs, special agents, and so on. He wasn't going for authenticity, just the challenge. This time around he's going in their solo. Unusually he's armed with two sabers and a cutlass. The two sabers are strapped handily across his back, whereas the cutlass is alongside his waist, but oddly the hilt is facing backwards. That's so he can use it for his tail.
It's been awhile since he's run a program like this. Ever since the draft he's rarely used human enemies, because it reminds him of the fact he had to kill. That's been hard for him and utterly shook him to his core. In any case, this is his first time running a scenario where he has to use his blades to kill his opponents. Throughout the scenario, Kurt will be showing off just how much he's advanced. He's a whirlwind of blades as he jumps from ceiling to wall to floor, cutting down foes, tripping them, and whipping his tail around to take each one down. It's exhilarating and more than that, incredibly difficult. It's almost enough to make Wolverine proud. Of course, at the very end, he gets to rescue the 'princess'. Who may or may not coincidentally look like Melanie, only in a big poofy dress. Don't worry, he won't make out with a virtual copy of his girlfriend. She's just the end goal.
His exploits are easily seen up in the viewing area, but once he's finished using up his time slot, he'll emerge from his chamber looking utterly exhausted. That has to be his most intense of workouts in a long time. As soon as he gets out, he'll be finding the first seat he can to just collapse. This is one blue elf that's going to be sore tomorrow. Maybe he could use this as an excuse to get out of Danger Room practice later.]
