Her metal godzilla thunders after her, roaring in surprise as she quickly scrambles up a tree to giggle at the creature who is having a difficult time stopping thanks to seven hundred pounds of dino, thank you very much

[Well, she's not the only one in that tree.In fact, Kurt was hanging out, upside down, flipping through his journal. The sound of something thundering on the ground gets his attention, but he soon finds himself face to face... with someone familiar. Whoops.]

[It takes Sapphire a good few moments to even notice - she latches onto the branch with both hands and falls to hang there, intending to keep chattering to Rono.

you know, if this had happened about two weeks earlier, Sapphire would've flipped a bit more significantly. As it is...she's seen some weird stuff - not enough to be desensitized, but enough to get through her head that taking simple things like "everything not human is Pokemon" and "humans don't fight on their own" for granted gets her absolutely nowhere.

So sure, yeah, it's surprising - but what's the use in being surprised when there is very cool stuff to be investigated here?]

Is it the kinda tail that ya can move around yarself, or does it act on its own?
