Doctors DO NOT LISTEN to a damn thing you have to say.
They already think they know what the problem is as soon as you walk through the door.
If you call them and tell them..."look, I need some *insert antibiotic of choice* for this nasty case of *insert infection of choice* I have". They say, "well why don't you lose money by leaving work so you can spend more money on the gas you need to get here so you can come down and pay your co-pay (or god forbid the $8,000,000 for an office visit without insurance)so I can do a bunch of tests that will end up costing you more money because they won't be covered, just to prove that I can make you do all of this when we both know that all I really have to do is make a fucking phone call to Walgreens".
AND THEN....
When you really feel like you need a doctor and you leave work and spend the money on your own accord and say "look, I've been having this problem for 4 years and I've already been to numerous different doctors who have run numerous different tests and given me numerous different medications and none of them can figure out what's wrong and you're my last hope because you've been my doctor since childhood and I'm paying full price for this fucking visit because *YOU* are not covered by my fucking insurance, please help me." They say "oh, well I'll just call you in a prescription".
Seriously....what THE FUCK is with these doctors!?!? Why even bother!?!? I am truely convinced that there are no longer any doctors alive who actually care about helping people. All any of them care about is the paycheck and they don't even want to work for that. Medical care costs thousands and thousands of dollars just so doctors can have a beach house in every country. My last dentist appt lasted approximately 30 mins. The bill was over $800. Sure wish I made $1600 an hour!!! And then the government has the balls to put a payout cap on malpractice suits!!! And don't even think about asking me why I abbreviated *appointment*, and *minutes*, but not *approximately*!!!
