so here's an update on deca.
the day went pretty well, i guess. definitely a long day, but i think everyone more or less feels alright about how they did. we'll find out the results this coming friday night at the awards banquet, so i'll have more details for everyone then.
the superquiz went ok. here was the ranking:
1. LA High: 57 points (out of 60)
2. Marshall: 52
3. Taft, Garfield: 51
4. El Camino, Granada: 49
that's much better than our superquiz performance at city last year (we came in 7th), but it doesn't really mean anything (the oral superquiz is only 4% of the final score). plus, i don't really care about placing below LA High or Marshall or tying with Garfield because the superquiz is all that they really try to do well in... plus, LA High has won it 8 years in a row...
all in all, it was an exhausting day, and i'm really glad to have today and tomorrow off. i have a bunch of stuff to do, so i guess i'll go get started on that....
