I wait 4 hours for it to clear up and for the impeding rainstorm to turn east and go to Nevada...and nothing. I'm so pissed off right now, I'm just gonna hit myself on the head to knock me silly and pass out. I looked PIMPIN' in my gear too. I had less than 20 pounds on me. I wanted to break 150 mph this time. Alas, SAFETY CONDITIONS bah. Anyways, thanks for trying guys...maybe I will catch you around the next time.
I have nothing to watch. Seriously, everything that I wanted to watch, or had a small itch...I've seen. I feel a slight depression forming.
Speaking of which, the Trek flick got pushed to 2009 now, due to more "polishing" (re: not done) of the script/acting/FX. And did you see the cast? The moron from that Lohan disaster "Just My Luck" is Kirk? Sylar from "Heroes" is Spock? SIMON PEGG IS SCOTTY?!?!?! EOMER IS MCCOY?!??!! THE HULK IS THE VILLIAN?!?!??! Well, I see the second one (he does look like a young Nimoy, but...hrm. Should be interesting. They also said they pushed it from Christmas to May because this one would appeal to non-Trekkies a lot more than the others, and therefore deserves a bigger audience, to which I say, "Bullshit." Wish they'd just say, "You know, it's gonna take a little longer."
By the way, I had a friend text me all pissed off that the trailer shows the Enterprise being built on Earth when the lexicon says it was birthed in spacedock. Yup, those are some of the people I deal with....
