(no subject)
So, last night instead of going to a party at Cornell like my roommate did, Sara and I watched 3 episodes of Law & Order: SVU and Monk. Except I fell asleep at, like, 10:40. Kind of pathetic, but whatevs. I just feel like doing my own thing right now.
The percussionists are having a party down at the Circle apartments tonight and I'm pretty excited. Today is definitely a practice/buy things/party day. Just like home.
I'm pretty happy here, but there are some things about the school that I really don't like. Like the constant presence of loud, jocky guys and idiotic, slutty girls. People are just really loud here. And they party a lot. I'm sure it's that way at every school. It does make me question my college choice a bit (underlying question here: should I have gone to NEC?) Once again: whatevs. I'm sure once I get into my groove I'll feel better about the whole situation. I do really like my studio, and that's all that actually matters. The music school kids are fun.
