Talked to Dr. Rein about my presentation on Monday as well as just some geeral project stuff anf direction. Feeling very good, that was a big confidence booster since I was starting to panic a little. I am looking forward to getting to see his little son Zeke and the cats later this summer as well (Little Jimmy Bacon and General Hector are the only cat names I can recall). I'm glad to be working with him again since I haven't had a class with Nathan since freshman year. I'll have world religions with him this coming semester. Right, so moving on.
Then I went to Dr Sorenson's office (I call him Kelly most of the time) to talk a little more technically about some of the philosophy I'll be reading. Mostly virtue ethics and the aritstoteleans and the non-aristoteleans and where I was going to come down and so forth. And once we had sorted all that out we geeked out for a good 20 minutes (Alexis was my witness) and talked about Joss Whedon (I'm lending him Firelfy once he's done with a Smallville boxset) and comics and video games. The man thinks he can outnerd me and I'm not yet ready to prove him wrong. Still, that was just awesome. Equally constructive and fun. This is shapin gup to be a tough yet rad summer.
