grass is greener on the other side
despite the awfully cold weather, toronto is my new favorite city. it has everything that i look for in a place to live (i.e. big city, public transportation, and abundant chinese food). and despite the 15% tax, i really think the shopping is much better there, both price and selection-wise. while los angeles miserably fails the public transportation requirement, at least the weather more or less makes up for it.
can't believe i'm already sitting in the law school library... spring break went by entirely too quickly and now i face the somewhat daunting prospect of catching up on all the chunks of reading that i 'saved' for later from the first half of the semester. but it's feeling like spring and everyone around me seems happy (a particular yay! for christine and jen, who've got their notes and summer jobs lined up just recently), so everything seems easier :)
