[ Ren had never really realised just how hard it was to be a fox. It enjoyed being one, but it had began to miss its own human body, seeing as it was rather hard to find anyone to talk to in a town where not many understood animal language. Not that it missed company, just it was rather boring to just... well, do almost nothing during the days

... Anyhow, how've you been?" ]

The phone lines can contact just about anyone in Mayfield.

Er, I've been alright, I suppose...how are you adjusting to Mayfield?

[ "I was told that everyone in town can hear my voice, but this is my first time using this... phone... thingy.

It's boring." ]

I'm sure it must be difficult to use the phone when you're a fox, huh?

Ah, it certainly gets boring, but I'm not too fond of this town's idea of "excitement".

[ "Well true, I guess this would be easier if I was a human...

... Ah, you mentioned before that we have to go through some horrible stuff to get our powers back. I take it that's the same as this 'excitement'?" ]

It's the town's idea of "excitement", yes. Sometimes the people trapped here hold events of their own though.

[ "... I'm still not sure if I can handle their "excitement" with this body, though." It sighed.

"And I don't think I can really attend people's events either..." ]

When things like that happen, it's best to just lay low for a while. If something does happen, I'm sure Lucas and I could offer some help. Have you met the other people living in your house yet?

Ah, well...have you been to the park yet?

[ "Hmm... I met this girl and, well, somebody is feeding me at least. Really, there's not even anything to hunt here..."

It pauses for a while, considering if it should be accepting help from humans this easily...

"... I'll pay you back somehow once I get my powers back. And what of the park?" ]

Good to hear you're being cared for, at least.

Oh, it's no problem! And the park's pretty big too, plenty of room to run around if you don't pay any attention to the other drone children playing there. Sometimes I'll visit after school.

[ S-sob, so embarrassing.

"... Are you asking me to go play in the park with you?" ]

W-well, I mean...it could be fun...

["..."

You can hear the fox mutter something silently.

"... Well I am bored..." ]

[bluecapboy]

Really?! [He sounds a little too excited about this, decides to tone it down.] O-oh, I mean, it'd be a little boring to go by yourself, right? Most of the people at the park are usually drones anyway.

[ S-sob. "I could use some company, yes. The most I've done in the park is take a nap and snarl at drones when they try to pet me." ]
