An update on life
So... This weekend was Get Out the Vote (GOTV). Originally we were supposed to go to Chula Vista to work on the Shirley Horton campaign, but all of a sudden, Thursday night I get a call from Alyse saying we're going to Palm Springs (WTH?!). Anyway, we head out and find out it's not even in Palm Springs... it's in Indio. Worste of all, since it was last minute the only hotel that had vacancy for that many people was Motel 6... WOW!!!! Long story short, everyone but I, Brett and Jung was drunk both nights. We also did A LOT of precint walking. Our group did 5 precints!!! So many houses. Um, lets see my car smells like shit now. Also, there were lots of protestors outside of the Palm Desert headquarters on Friday. Pretty funny. CBS 2 was there and we did an anti protest and pretty much washed them out. Pretty funny haha. To say the least... my weekend was very interesting.
Anyway, as far as this election is concerned I have faith in the Republican base. The general polls already show a substantial shift in the Republican support, and of course the last 72 hours are the most crucial. One thing that's spectacular about the GOP movement is that it's so freaking grassroots. Soooo cool. Soooo many volunteers and so many people who are so passionate about the issues. Way cool. Anyway, the only thing that worries me right now is keeping the House. Just say no to "speak pelosi"! AHHH!
Okay, enough politics. I bought an LSD for my 240. Hehehe. It's finally going in next weekend. I wanted to go to Drift Buffet and drive but thats not gonna happen... Way too many things to do and my car won't be ready to drive on Saturday. Such a bummer. I'll hit up the next one.
School is going ok. I keep screwing up stupid little things that I should be getting right. It dissapoints me because it's so close. Eh, won't happen anymore.
Ok, I really don't feel like writing in this thing anymore so I'll just leave now.
