Library Info Post

I believe I only have one open library aide slot this term, but info posts are always good. Anyhow, aides are responsible for posting the library one day a week. (If two people want to sign up as a team to cover a single day, I'm totally cool with that. More library interaction is good.) The schedule will be announced Sunday, after the class lists ( Read more... )

IC Bit
Name: Wesley Wyndam-Pryce
Grade: 11
Days Available (best 2-3): Friday, Thursday, Saturday.

My favorite book is: Good lord, how can I select a favorite book, really? I do have quite an affinity for the Gunderson Index of Demons, as it turned to life several months ago allegedly on basis of my adoration for it. That isn't to say that I don't enjoy narrative books, however - on the contrary, I finished Dante's Inferno quite recently, in the original Tuscan, of course, and I found it quite a good read.

I want to be a library aide because: Well, because of my love of books, naturally. I've been to the Fandom High library several times now and while it isn't nearly as impress -- er, I mean, as familiar as the one at the Watchers' Academy that I'm used to, I am able to find my way around and presumably assist other students in their requests and inquiries. I do know my way around a card catalog, you know. Furthermore, I will be taking quite a few classes this fall and I do anticipate that I'll be spending a good deal of time in the library anyway, so I see no reason that I shouldn't be there to help others as well.

Is there anything about why your character should be an aide (or why you want to play a library aide) that wasn't covered above?: Hee. Wes is a bit ranty so I'd say the IC bit pretty much covered it. The boy likes books, yo. It's like his destiny as a Watcher to fawn over them constantly. I certainly in no way love having him be a major klutz and/or giggle hysterically at the idea of him knocking over a bookshelf, if that's what you mean.

OPTIONAL: Suggest one concept for a Special Collections plot. Anything from random crack to character-centric drama is fair game here: I'm relatively new so I can't say I'm all that familiar with Special Collections plots and what they entail, so I'm gonna pass on this one. Do you have some examples of plots from the past, maybe?
